The U.S freedom capital of the world has a even darker secret. Every year amost 16 million children are forced to face food insecurities. thousands of babies die ever year because of a lack of food and nutrition. how is it that these two countries are the same , that the land of the free has so many starving children. Today for you starts off great you wake up , you get dressed , you eat breakfast the most important meal of the day and you are off with your day. But what about the child who cant eat breakfast because theirs nothing to eat and had nothing to eat the night before. This is the fate of over 13million children who will wake up this morning .Going a whole day without eating to you seems impossible , but for many children that would be the same as the day before. 32% of these children will die before there 21 birthday.64 % of the world wide starvation death total in children under the age of 16 so this problem is world wide. American have finally realized this abysmal of a problem and has set up many charities and programs to put a end to our young peoples pain and agony. These programs have given these children hope that maybe today will be the day that they can eat 3 meals a day and not 1. the government has vowed to end child hunger by 2020 with these programs and charities. I like our chances. Whose to say this is not or could become you. so stand up for the ones who can not stand up for themselves. You might even save the next president , or next great inventor. Almost 16 million kids are starving why cant you be the one to change that.
